Book this - you won’t regret it!! I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of this place. It was spotless!! Easy to get to & you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. The local food scene was just what you needed after a day out on the water. Just a perfect little getaway spot! Darcy thought of everything, from the home being stocked with everything you could possibly need to the awesome guidebook to get you familiar with the area

Staying at Darcy and Mel's farmhouse was like staying with friends. Upon walking in, everything is exactly like the pictures and more. The decor is straight out of a magazine, and the whole house was sparkling clean! Anything we needed or wanted was provided and easy to find. Darcy is extremely responsive and the perfect host!
The town of Sparta is very quaint, but the food at Marioochi's and The Coffee Collective is second to none.
The location is perfect for those wanting to be close to stores but still off the beaten path. It is always quiet to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. After a day of hiking and chasing waterfalls, there is plenty of privacy to soak in the hot tub or sit around the fire pit under the stars.
Let's talk cows...who knew cows could be so entertaining?!? Every day was like watching a new episode of a reality tv show, lol!

My fiancé and I wanted a quiet getaway to enjoy some alone time and this place was perfect! We had planned to spend our trip hiking but due to the weather we couldn’t. Darcy was so attentive that she reached out to us and gave us indoor recommendations so we weren’t stuck inside all day but we enjoyed staying in and taking time to just stop and relax from our crazy lives by enjoying the rainy weather in this cozy cabin! 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back again

Everything about this place was perfect from the ambience to the amenities. The kitchen was stocked with top of the line cooking essentials, spices/oils, coffee etc. for our stay (don’t overpack like we did lol). Perfect place for a couple or small family to getaway and immerse themselves in nature. It’s nearby multiple state parks and some great local restaurants/breweries to enjoy. I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends! The hosts are super friendly people and seem to have put a lot of thought into the details of this home.
